Challenge

When Dream Drams approached us, they wanted to vastly improve their customer’s experience on their website to further expand online sales of their unique cask whiskeys. Despite trading online for over 10 years, the original site was dated and hadn’t moved with the company.

Not only did the website need to be a cornerstone of their online presence, but also much easier to use both for a potential customer and the team. Verse was also tasked with bringing out the Dream Drams identity and incredible origin story with impressive visuals.

Solution

Our team crafted unique designs and imagery, taking inspiration from the amber spirit itself and the regions of Scotland where most of the independent whiskeys are bottled. Luxury and exclusivity needed to be apparent from the off, to really capture the Dream Drams experience.

The new site features a completely redesigned seamless user experience powered by Shopify, as well as a much more visually effective focus on the storytelling of Dream Drams history and its broad product range.

Using Shopify as an e-commerce platform delivers an easy to use ordering experience for the customer. Responsive product filters and featured product sections created a strong, simple customer journey. As well as benefits for the customer, we ensured the site was easy to update for the client to ensure sustainability long into the future.

Results

When you look at the finished Dream Drams product in comparison to the old website, it’s there has been a huge uplift in quality, reflecting the quality of the whiskey the brand offers.

The new design and layout are visually pleasing and smooth and as a result, the customer buying experience has been simplified, fine-tuned and made much more effective overall. Plus it has the added bonus of being easy to update and maintain for the company team, regardless of technical know how.
